Located in the heart of the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve, our outfitter is the only one offering direct access to the Dozois Reservoir — a 325 km² body of water with more than 4,000 km of shoreline. Walleye and northern pike thrive here. The territory is vast, fishing pressure is low, and the possibilities are endless.
Owners Louis L’Écuyer and Nancy Labelle have welcomed guests since 2004. With a dedicated, helpful and experienced team, every visitor is treated like a regular. No sales pitch. Just people who know the territory and want your stay to be a success.
Dorval Lodge is not like other outfitters. The Dozois Reservoir is immense — and we are the only outfitter with access to it. That means fewer boats, more quiet, and fish that haven’t seen ten lines before yours.
We are also located directly on Highway 117 at km 397. No gravel roads. No portage. A paved road from departure to arrival. Just 3 hours from Gatineau and 4 hours from Montreal, it is one of the most accessible fishing territories in Quebec for the quality it offer
The property includes 27 cottages with 24-hour electricity, running water and fully equipped kitchens. Options for 1 to 24 guests are available on a European plan. You bring your supplies — we provide the rest.
Boats are available for rent: 16’ boats with 15 hp motors, 18’ boats with 60 hp motors, and 20’ and 25’ pontoon boats. If you bring your own boat, our concrete launch ramp is accessible directly from the road. All our docks have electricity.
