We are located at kilometre 397 on Highway 117, in the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve. The road is paved from start to finish. Leave from Gatineau or Montreal, drive north, and arrive directly at the lodge. No detours. No surprises.
Dorval Lodge is one of the most accessible fishing territories in Quebec for the quality it offers. Most of our guests come from the Outaouais, Montreal and the Laurentians, but we also regularly welcome anglers from Ontario and the United States.
Our mailing address is 35 Marie-Anne Street, Egan-Sud (QC) J9E 3A9 — but do not use it for GPS. Use the coordinates above or simply search “Dorval Lodge km 397” to find the correct location.

We say it often, but it’s true. From Mont-Laurier, Highway 117 enters the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve and the landscape changes completely. Boreal forest stretches in every direction. Lakes appear on both sides of the road. The air feels different. The pace slows down.
When you see the km 397 sign, you know the city is far behind — exactly as it should be.
An access fee for the wildlife reserve is required. It can be obtained directly at the Dorval Lodge office.
Make sure you have a valid fishing licence before departure. It can be purchased online through the Quebec government website.
We recommend washing your boat at the designated cleaning stations within the La Vérendrye Wildlife Reserve before arrival.
Cellular service is available throughout the property and across much of the reservoir. Wi-Fi is available near the office only.
At the office you will find access permits, updated bathymetric maps, fuel, oil, bait, ice, fishing supplies, beverages and bottled water.
